Brown Edge Parish Council has decided, unanimously, to create a Neighbourhood Plan to ensure that both local residents and the Parish Council do have more of a say in future developments in the whole Parish area. The Council reluctantly accepts that it has to comply with the housing allocation it has been set by the SMDC but it insists on having a say on what type of housing it needs and where it should be located.
The Neighbourhood Plan is the way in which this can be achieved.
If you wish to see when a meeting of the Neighbourhood Plan Committee takes place you can look at the diary (to the right) and click on the dates marked. all committee or working groups dates will be on there. All committees are open to the public and normal council rules apply.
